Long-term use shows good durability — some buyers purchase it repeatedly or have owned one for years. Folding takes practice initially but becomes quicker with familiarity. Several reviewers noticed an unpleasant smell immediately after unboxing, though it dissipated over time. The main issue is universality — the 142 × 75 cm size does not fit all vehicles equally well.

The primary complaint concerns sizing: many owners of smaller cars (Toyota Corolla, Audi A5) report the shade is too large, overlapping doors or requiring modifications to fit. Some had to adjust clips with pliers. Another issue is the missing storage bag — it ships only in a simple pouch. The handle is not foldable and its length can obstruct the dashboard. One critical review highlights weak velcro design that prevents secure mirror attachment.
