With extended use, the strip performs reliably — buyers who have had it installed longer confirm it works without issues. However, the light output is weaker than many would expect; several users note it is not suitable as the main light source in a room. The red color is reportedly the weakest setting. The strip requires no maintenance, but with longer variants (20–30 m), some have noticed a gradual brightness drop toward the end of the strip.

Main complaints concern the lack of double-sided adhesive — the strip comes without adhesive on the underside, requiring users to employ the included plastic clips and drill into walls. The app for music synchronization reportedly does not work intuitively or at all according to several reviews. Some also point out that the receiver connector is not waterproof, which is problematic for outdoor use. The white color appears somewhat bluish to some users.
